(From tank at the brewery) Pours pale golden. The aroma is of caramel, fudge and cookie-like tones alongside some strange notes of wild strawberry yogurt and penicillin. A touch of spicy hops is notable. The flavour is light to medium hop bitter and light malty sweet. Fruity, light citric, light spicy and toffee/fudge-like. The mouthfeel is soft and light round. Medium bodied. 5/3/5/3/12 Second try: (Draught at The Rover) Pours yellow to orange. Creamy white head. Pretty massive hop aroma of grass, spices, resin and pine on a light toasted malt base. Tiny fruity. The flavour is medium low alpha hoppy and light malty with tones of mild lemon, grass, spices and toast. Light bitter. The mouthfeel is watery, dry and a bit empty. Light bodied.
