fiulijn (7150), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Jun 25, 2007 Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68 Dark chestnut color. A hint of European hops in the aroma. The body is too weak, with dark caramel and some roasted malt. Simple. anders37 (4516), Malmö, Sweden May 14, 2007 Draught @ Bishop’s Arms, Malmö. Pours a dark amber color with a tan head. Malty hoppy aroma with hints of caramel and coffee. Sweet malty hoppy, coffe and chocolate flavor. Sweet malty hoppy finish with a slightly fruity aftertaste. Svesse (2597), Hässelby, Sweden May 8, 2007 (Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Dark brown, almost mahogany, colour with ruby notes, brief beige head. Malty, fruity, slightly roasted nose with notes of chocolate, orange, cherries and citrussy hops. Fruity, slightly malty taste with orange, chocolate and hints of Christmas spices. Short, dry finish with citrussy hops. Reminiscent of Swedish julmust with hops. Very tasty, regarding the low abv. omhper (12153), Stockholm, Sweden May 3, 2007 Updated: Jul 9, 2007Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68, Stockholm. Clear dark brown, average head. Buttery chocolate aroma. Rather sweet with light body. Exquisite flavour of chocolate and plum brandy. A beer this light requires very soft mouthfeel to work in my opinion. This one has the flavour, but the mouthfeel is hard, reducing my enjoyment significantly. ante (2904), Stockholm, Sweden May 2, 2007 Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68, Stockholm. Really dark ruby red colour topped with a rich, rocky beige foam. Light aroma of Milky chocolate and cocoa-powder with light hoppy notes of leafy hops. Light-bodied with notes of cocoa, nuts and leaves. Light and somewhat powdery mouthfeel. Mild finish of milky chocolate and wet grass. Not the best offering from Dugges but still decent. rlgk (3377), Vårgårda, Sweden Apr 29, 2007 Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse, Stockholm. Dark amber color, offwhite head. Roasted malty aroma. Malty, slaty flavor with some fruit. Definately not one of Dugges better beers... larsniclas (3383), Gothenburg, Sweden Mar 30, 2007 Draught at Haket, Gothenburg.
Hazy brown with a creamy, off-white head.
Roasted aroma with chocolate and some hoppiness.
Soft and smooth palate. Rather light-bodied with some weird, unrecognizable flavour. gnoff (3559), Göteborg, Sweden Mar 29, 2007 (Draught at Haket, Göteborg) Clear dark red color, big fluffy tan head. Fruity, hoppy and a bit roasted malt scent. Hoppy, fruity taste with roasted malt and the smallest touch of metal and green apples. Medium mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Not bad, but a bit of everything, nothing distinctive. Dugge has done way better.
