Commercial Description:

Draught at Söderbärke Mikroölfestival. Ruby colour, small head. Spicy nose with notes lavender and juniper berries (even if these are not the spices added), as well as grassy hops. Medium bodied with clean rounded mouthfeel. Complex and intriguing flavour from the mix of spices, hops and caramelly malt. Rather light for a Christmas ale, but who cares with all these flavours?

[Draught] Cloudy orange colour. Not the biggest head. Rich fruity aroma with tidbits and red apple. Bit spicy. Rounded, almost oily mouthfeel and very British. Berries and licorice was what I detected in this orgy of hard-to-track flavours. Pale spicy. Very flavourful with perfect balance in bitterness.

(Draught@Pikkulintu) Slightly hazy, dark ruby red with a small, but lasting and lacy head. Toffee-malty, christmas-spicy and flowery-hoppy, balanced and tempting aroma. Woody-hoppy, toffee-malty, dryish flavor with a strong, anise-licoricey finish. Medium-bodied, slicky palate with quite low carbonation. A very nice and balanced, christmasy, but not spicewise overdone brew.

Hazy dark amber, with a medium head. Hoppy, spicy aroma. Some hints of liquorice. Flavour is spicy as well. Decent bitterness. Really dry. Long finish.

Draught at the Rover in Göteborg with Gnoff. Malty caramel and chocolate aroma. Very good, taste sweet and a bit salty as well! For the christmas beer style: it sets an example.

Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö
Cloudy dark amber color. Very nice aroma, malt, but most of all hops (earthy, English). Good body, where the caramel preveals, on some malt, roasted malt and hop. Final bitterness, equally from the roasted malt and the hop.

Draught @ Bishop’s Arms, Malmö. Pours a slightly hazy dark reddish colour with an off-white head. Hoppy spicy malty aroma. Sweet malty piny hoppy flavor. Dry hoppy finish with a long bitter aftertaste.

On tap at Glenfiddich Warehouse, Stockholm. Amber color, great creamy offwhite head. Fruity, hoppy aroma with some licorice. Fruity, hoppy flavor, licorice and some viol in the finish.
