Deep reddish brown with a firm creamy beige head. Fruity malts, with subtle earthy and yeasty notes, and a clear smoked touch. Medium bodied and very smooth. Dry with a moderate bitterness. Did not appreciate the smokiness, without it I could have really liked this one. rickgordon (3285), Göteborg, Sweden Dec 15, 2007 On draught at Bishops Arms, Västra Hamngatan, Göteborg.
Dark brown colour with a tint of red. Pale brown head. Very light Belgo-yeasty in aroma with toast malt and a number of "darker" sensations. A hodgepodge of flavours here and a big, chewy mouthfeel. Bit salty and licoricy. Smoke and hops in balance. Good solid malty with a touch of toastiness. The Belgian profile is very subtle.
