The aroma is sweet malty with notes of chocolate, caramel, fruit, and some spices. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, spices - primarily cardemomme, and a bit of chocolate, leading to a dry spicy finish. Thanks KimJohansen for sharing. Svesse (2683), Hässelby, Sweden
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 30, 2008 (Bottle) Very dark brown with ruby hints. Brief, foamy, pale brown head. Fruity, roasted nose with dark fruit, chocolate and cherries in brandy. Fruity, malty taste with notes of chocolate, dark fruit, sweet black coffee and a hint of burnt sugar. Slightly vinous and rather sweet. Nice beer leaning in the porter direction. MesandSim (5949), London, Greater London, England

I generally really enjoy Dugges beers and this is no exception. Impenetrable mahogany black colour with a decent tan head. Full on burnt aroma with loads of malt, maybe a little plastic and some fairly strong coffee. Really good dark fruitiness. Similar flavour with some extra chocolate thrown in for good measure. Lovely sour hint to it. Dark and malty, slightly dry with a delicate bitter and tarty hint in the finish. Interesting and enjoyable. Cheers Alex. Defreni (1032), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 25, 2008 Flaske. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 20, 2008 500 ml bottle. Nice apperance, a small dense choco head over a reddish hued, dark brown colored body. Roasted dark malts, licorice, chocolate and crisp hops to the nose. Fairly sweet ashy, roasted dark malts and canned fruits in the flavor. Distinct bitterness, pine, grass and earth. Tones of salty licorice and unripe berries. Healthy body. Malty and fruity finish with a sourish-bitter twist. Ingevara (528), Hindås, Sweden
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 17, 2008 Dark and roasty, an average tinted head. Prunes and hops, smoke, coffee and chocolate in a blessed union but topped up with a little too much alcohol and acid to be perfect.
