Commercial Description:

Medium light brown head. Deep dark translucent red body. Burnt sugary wooden vanilla and resin aroma. Dry-sweetish burnt wooden vanilla taste with roasty coffee notes. Soft, mild mouthfeel. Mid-bodied. Dry spicy licorice and coffee taste with vanilla. Interesting and nice. (0.5l bottle from gr0ve.)

Bottle. Looks thin and watery. Light brown colour. Pathetic head. Nice light smoked taste with coffee and chocolate. Way to thin...

Pours a darkbrown, almost black color with a nice, stable light brown head. Aroma is a bit peculiar and surprising at first. Notes of smoke, pine forest, some dull(?) fruitiness, slightly of burnt malt. Taste is malty, smokey and a bit spicy (christmas spices) with notes of pine-needles. Lightly sourish. Mouthfeel is pretty filling, the beer is medium bodied with low carbonation. Overall pretty nice beer from Dugges, but maybe lightly infected?

<i>From tank at the brewery and bottled from Systembolaget.</i> Very dark brown. Pretty brief, beige head. Roasted and salty aroma with some dark toffee and coffee. Slightly sourish in the flavour with low bitterness. A lot of licorice. A bit on the sweet side at first. Roasted coffee and som hazelnuts.

(Bottle at Beermakers dinner) Very faint aroma of fruit and coffe. The taste is hard to define, but according to Mikael Dugge, "it’s not banana". Quite dry.
