fiulijn (5860), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Mar 18, 2008 Draught at Rover, Göteborg It has an hazy golden color; the head reduces to a thin creamy layer. In short, it’s an average Ale: the body, the light malt flavor, the hop. But, what surprises me the most, is that the aroma has an evident roasted malt presence, and the flavor is strongly affected by the black malt, or coffee; the final just becomes worse, with a too strong black malt presence, a bit sour; if I were blind, I would swear I’m drinking a very harsh Stout, but this is not black ??? I’m lost… Anyway, due to these characteristics (the roasted malt), I don’t like it. rickgordon (3060), Göteborg, Sweden Jan 28, 2008 On draught at the brewery.
Hazy orange colour with fluffy head. Toasty malt aroma with nuts and bit fruity. Crisp malt backbone with bit of chocolate and toast. Jellyish, steady mouthfeel. Medium bitterness. rlgk (3014), Motala, Sweden Mar 1, 2008 Drauhgt at The Rover, Göteborg. Orang/golden color, offwhite head. Hoppy perfume aroma, some chocolate notes. Rather strange perfume and hop flavor. Bitter finish. A bit strange and really not very much to my liking. Maybe its me, maybe its the beer... larsniclas (2795), Gothenburg, Sweden Jan 27, 2008 Updated: Mar 4, 2008Draught at the brewery.
Hazy golden with a fluff, white head.
Malty, salty, nutty aroma and flavour with peat-notes.
Slightly roasted with fine fruitiness and bitterness.
