Golden coloured beer with nice white head on top. Aroma is slight sweet with some touches of yeast, fruit and pepper. Taste is round with some fruity accents and some spices. It ends with a fine hoppy bitterness in the finale

33cl dark brown bottle, label as shown. Bottle-conditioned tripel pours a cloudy deep amber with a predictably huge, off-white head. Retention is good, lacing generous. Intense aroma of yeast and orange, with spicy herbs and a malty note, too. Active carbonation, earthy, thick, tickling mouthfeel. Medium-bodied for the style, but with the alcohol looming heavily. Taste is thankfully sour, mostly of grapefruit and yeast - with a lot of herbs - camouflaging the alcoholic sweetness in the background. Finish is dry and bitter, nice hops, and the lingering after taste is both mildly sour and herbaceous. Another not-so-sweetish Belgian tripel, quite agreeable for the style. As you keep drinking, the alcohol starts powering through - limiting this brew’s suitability as a session beer, which, at 9 % abv, is probably a good thing.

30th June 2008. Lively tripel. Very fruity with a champagne like dry finish. The fruit is orange and peach but also some other generic fruit going on. Smooth tasty tripel.

Hazy golden colour with small white head. Huge amount of floaties. Yeasty aroma with notes of wine and vinegar. Yeasty flavour with fruits and spices. Some alcohol warmth.

As Duinen Tripel, looks old, no date. Dark orange, thin off white foam. Aroma is sweet, malty, honey, light clove, bananas, pears, caramel apples. Taste is again honey, floral, pears, apples, fruitiness, caramel malts.

Bottle. Pours golden coloured with a big egg white head. Aromas of cereal, a bit old, fruity and yeasty. Flavours of grain, oranges and slight metallic.

Think that I picked this up from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Belgium, on way to the Kemmel campsite, Belgium, 09-06-09 Pours mid gold with white big bubbly head and busy carbonation. Aroma is quite boozy, but there is a good dollop of yeast and malts in the there also. Sweet at first but also quite fruity with the alcohol quite prevalent throughout which tends to take the shine off things. Malty, tangy and yeasty with dab of citrus, its fine. A5 A4 F6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Golden with chunks, lasting white head. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruit with a metallic edge. Sweet yeasty flavour with a citrus acidity, and some alcohol in the finish.
