| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 4, 2008 Bottle from beermerchants.com. Deep, rich brown with solid, creamy head. Initially a slightly sour, medicinal aroma with roast/chocolate malt coming through. Sweetish malt flavour, but not overpoweringly so, there are hints of hop character coming through the maltiness. Good level of carbonation keeps this light on the palate and very drinkable given its strength. wyzzywyz22 (795), Wirral, Merseyside, England

Muddy looking dark coppery brown colour with a large diminishing off-white head. Sweetish caramel malt aroma with a hint of dark fruit. The flavour was somewhat underwhelming, sweet malty with notes of prune and a slight metallic tang.
Glagable but nowt special. Magicdave6 (5548), London, Greater London, England
