A little hazy, dark red colored beer, with a beautiful foamy beige head. It stays for a long time. It also leaves laces on the glass. A very nice sweet aroma of roasted malt, with brown sugar. Fruits are there as well. The taste is light spicy, with fruits like cherries, with a light alcohol taste. A little bitter and yeast after taste. A very good beer.

Botella. Pour a hazy dark brown colour with a medium beige head. Aroma of yest, well toasted malt and caramel. Fair mouthfeel. The flavour has well toasted malt and yeast along with some dark fruits, roasty caramel, soft bitterness and some spice. Bit thin strong ale.

Bottle. High and long lasting creamy off-white head. Hazy dark brown body. Relatively sweet and fruity aroma. Pretty carbonated roasted malt flavor with caramel notes. Alcoholl well hidden by the bitterness. Long spicy aftertaste.

Bottle, bought @ Barley Wine, Cph.
Pours deep amber brown with a medium, frothy beige head. Aroma is sweet and malty caramel with some yeast and a metallic touch. Fine, creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, good yeastiness and lots of milky chocolate. not that vinious, but lightly warming. Okay beer.

[1183-20080303] 330mL. Muted woody fruit aroma has hints of leafy greens when it warms. Hazy, dark dark brown body with a long-lasting creamy light tan head. Mild grain yeast flavour has more mellow malt. Medium-full body. Interesting, hides the alcohol percentage well.

Bottle from my 2007 Belgium trip. Brown with a small head. Nose of stale hops. Taste of strong alcohol, malts, nice full body, sticky, chocolately. Probably better fresh.

Bottle from Bleeng, sampled at Zinister’s tasting. Thanks!
Pours muddy chocolate with yeasty bits floating about the glass. Nose is dark cranberry with hints of raspberry. Tastes of sour cedar dough with copper penny sprinkles. Tingly and spikey mouthfeel. Intresting refresher.
