Bottle (33 cl) at Tre små rum, Göteborg, Sweden. Clear dark redish copper brown, small beige head. Sticky sugary malt aroma. Thin mouthfeel, low carbonation. Sweet with low bitterness.

Extremely sedimented, dirty looking cloudy brown with a slight beige head that mostly lasts. Really tons of floaties. Rather caramelly nose, but dominated by stale yeast with its dull old bready notes. Pretty neutral taste wise, almost alcaline palate. For a belgian, no acidity at all feels a bit weird and there certainly are no hops to balanbce this messy dirty yeast and sweet medley. Average medium body is rather nutty, skinny and a wee bit papery. Slightly metallic upon the finish, but not overbearing. Honeyed hints completely eaten out by yeast. You’ll have guessed it, this was quite poor.

Bottle @ Hopduvel, Gent. Liquoricey malts and drying tart fruitiness. Nice fruity caramelised falvours combine well with the acidity almost as in balasamic vinegar. Not too heavy considering the strength and the light acidity helps to keep this drinkable. Hit the spot nicely.

Pretty, dark brown color with a thin head. Lovely aroma of raisins and dates but flavor is weak version of same with mild malt. I’d like more hops in the finish. Thin mouthfeel.
