Nose of light roast and chalk, dark caramel and some toasty biscuity wheat, light acidic yeast. The flavor is chewy, nutty and full of peanut butter. An interesting blend of tart and citrusy with dark and malty. KimJohansen (7143), Copenhagen V, Denmark

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 15, 2005 Bottle is named Duke’s Dodgerhator (not hater - hator). Received from a beer-of-the-month club. Pours a cloudy amber from the bottle without any head (off-white head while pouring disappeared almost immediately). Aroma (what there is of it) consists of spices and malt. Flavor is more spicy than malty, but only an average amount of flavor. Mouthfeel is better than average in that is mouthfilling with a long finish. This is a drinkable beer in the same way that Rolling Rock or Labatt’s Blue are. I don’t know how much that says about this beer, but I could drink it all day if I could. Oscbert (550), Sacramento, California, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 9, 2004 Tasted as Dodgerhater Weizenbock. Medium amber color. Small head. Aroma is slightly malty and fruity sweet. A light to medium bodied weizenbock. Malts are fruity and sweet. Slightly spicy with a touch of bubble gum. It’s a little dry and weak tasting. It also seems to be a little bit low in alcohol for a weizenbock. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly spicy.Regional beer, I doubt that this one will be a big hit in L.A, unless they call it Gianthater! plovmand (1736), Helsinge, Denmark
