Commercial Description:
A wonderfully balanced true pale ale. Cascade, Tomahawk, and Amarillo hops create a citrusy aroma with a smooth, crisp finish. A subdued malt character nicely complements the hop complexity and produces an orangey amber hue.

12 oz. bottle. Beautiful, clear amber pour with a thin tan head. Strong citrus aroma. Very processed malt taste. A decent beer but nothing to recommend it.

Golden color with bubbly white head. Faint aroma of malts. Taste initially of all malts with a little bit of hops coming in at the very end.

Strange ... spicy enough and bitter enough I guess, and obviously hopped with PNW hops, but it still reminded me more of a mass market European lager with a strangely metallic off note in the finish. Hazy orange, OK appearance, some malt notes, some orange and pine notes, bitter finish, sounds better than it was.

Average hop smell and taste. Light color pour and easy head. Lighter hop/citrus style flavor and a bitterish finish.

pours amber, with a stale hoppy nose. Flavor is stale hops and some malt. Pretty lame. I’d never have this again.

12 oz bottle in Columbus, OH. Gold with a thin cream head; cirus and caramel aroma; tart bitterness with an unlying caramel sweetness; dry quinine finish.

Really beautiful pour, a rich coppery-brown color with a very large, light off-white head that is long lasting. Light-to-moderate citrus aroma with nectarines and caramel undertones. Grainy flavor initially, turns sharply bitter as piney hops join the party. Finish is slightly sour, moderately bitter with a slightly metallic note. A touch thin on the palate. Overall, though, I found this to be a rather good APA, surprisingly so considering the low score. Well worth a try.

Crystal clear amber. Scents of citrus emanate with a more subtle floral aroma. The flavor is very caramelized, with some malts, and a dry, citrus- hop finish.
