Commercial Description:
A wonderfully balanced true pale ale. Cascade, Tomahawk, and Amarillo hops create a citrusy aroma with a smooth, crisp finish. A subdued malt character nicely complements the hop complexity and produces an orangey amber hue.

Pours a clear amberwith an off white head. Aroma is medium sweet, light floral, caramel, bread and light citrus. Flavor is bread, caramel and light citrus. Light to medium body, very thin texture. Medium bitter finish.

(12oz bottle from sample 12 at home on September 11, 2008.) Starts off with a great, frothy head. Looks insanely clear-bodied, much like Dundee’s other beers. Head falls quickly into a chunky, bubbly heap, leaving frothy lacing down the glass. Well-carbonated. Aroma smells macro: citrus, grains, sweetness. Taste reminds me much of an American pale lager. Too sweet and syrupy for my taste. Hops are hard to detect. Reminds me of an amber ale, but more citric.

Pretty much what you would expect from a Pale Ale. Golden color with a strong aroma and taste of hops. Had a very nice creamy white head. A little average but a nicely balanced beer, not bad at all.

I was shocked to find this in Yamaya in Kyoto for a cool ¥198! All the way from Rochester! A very well balanced, light pale ale with a good dose of both caramel malt and hops. Nothing to walk a mile for, but a good session beer and great value. I also like to support High Falls, one of the last remaining old independents (Genesee) that is mostly owned by its employees now.

Bottle. An average over-all pale ale. Golden copper body - mild hop nose and flavor.

Decent beer for the price. Sorry I’m not an expert on descriptions, but for the price it was alright.

Pours a little darker than most apa’s. Light with some hoppiness. Came with the Craft Pack. Not a bad beer.

Pours a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma is sorta bland- grain, soft hops and perhaps a little pepper on the nose. Taste is light, clean and refreshing but i expect more in an APA.
