It is very sparkling and has a lot of particles in it. The head is thin, blotchy and off-white. It leaves decent lacing on the glass. The aroma is sweet, dusty and fruity with notes of citrus and coriander. It is light bodied; pretty smooth, but a bit gritty. It has a well balanced flavor and nice bitterness. There are notes of citrus peel and maybe juniper. It has a clean, quick, bitter aftertaste. It’s very drinkable. coldbrewky (741), Saugerties, New York, USA

Pours a beautiful shadow-ridden amberwitha tdistinct white headthat is powered byu steady carbonation. Floral hop nose. Honey sweet body is tingling with moderate hops but still remains easy drinking. Legs are o\pinpoints finish is very fruity with mellow hops at tip and edges of tounge. an enjoyable brew out of a surprise sample pack. Homebrewerguy (285), Oil City, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 5/5 | 12/20 | Jul 25, 2008 From the craft case simply called Dundee: New bottle, same old apa, aside from the mildly humorous sayings on each bottle, this beer is unremarkable. American hops are apparent more so than the malt that they talk about, not bad for the style but not great either. Leaves too much hop bitterness in the aftertaste to have another. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 25, 2008 Bottle from sample pack. Pours a dark golden color with a fluffy 2 finger cream head and ok lacing. Nose is mild with malt and some hops. Taste is very much like it smells. Not a lot going on in this one – tastes like a watered down version of their IPA. Light-to-medium mouth feel. zombywoof (362), Shawnee, Kansas, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 22, 2008 Hard pressed to tell much of a difference between this and the IPA-if anything this actually seems more hopped than the IPA. More Cascade hops anyway. spikester (602), Salem, Oregon, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 21, 2008 A very average APA. Lots of floaties. Decent taste downgraded with a bit of sweet corn. Not much head or lacings. Some hop bitterness. Probably much better on tap. afireinside96 (841), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Jul 21, 2008 12oz bottle served in an English pint glass. Pours clear amber, some visible carbonation, and an audible white head. Smells bready, citrus, sour. Has some bready malt flavor and some citrus, both of which are overshadowed by corn. Leaves a medicinal aftertaste, some kind of lingering bitterness that is not at all pleasant. I knew I should have gone with my better judgment before buying this. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 16, 2008 Appearance: Pours an orangey-copper body with a small, white head.
Smell: Plain pale malts with a slight citrus fruitinss.
Taste: Pale malts, hint of nut, and with a fairly light sweetness. A jigger full of ruby red grapefruit juice. A tad watery midway. Light hop bitterness. A bit more fruit and then you’re rewarded with a dry finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation, somewhat fizzy.
Drinkability: Not so great, really, but it is right cheap, I’ll give it that much.
