Taste is soft citrus/pine hops-slight bite, medium malt-sweet caramel. Good carbonation. An OK crossover beer. Medium body. Smooth American light lager with a few extra hops. 2.8 A good low cost beer. 3.0 mgoy (343), Oak Brook, Illinois, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 7, 2008 Bottle poured to a pint. Smell was a bit of citrus and overall not bad. An amber like hue to the look. A very smooth taste but not a whole lot of flavor that isn’t to say it is a bad flavor either. For the money and the overall feel on the palate it is a decent beer. rman18 (201), South Amboy, New Jersey, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 7, 2008 For a Pale Ale this is a nice... Great flavor, nice aroma and beautiful feel. This is arguably the best American Pale Ale that I have ever had. A+! GMUcrew7 (361), Mason, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 3, 2008 Pours light amber color w/ off white head. Aroma is pretty good, nice balance of the hops and malts. Flavor is weaker than aroma, light malt flavor to start and the somewhat bitter hops finish off this light and well balanced ale. Not spectacular, but it is smooth and drinkable. sgallant (21), USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jan 25, 2008 A pretty flavorless blend. The malt stands out but not necessarily in a good way. Mild citrus to bitter taste but not a deep flavor at all. I might drink it when parched after mowing the lawn a la lager, but not for the pure taste of the brew. EithCubes (2152), Indiana, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 20, 2008 Bottle. Slightly adjuncty nose with strong pale malts. Lesser but complimentary vanilla and PNW hops. Dark golden body with a lacing, creamy white head. Taste is a slightly biscuity, slightly exotic hoppy varietal, fruity but a little thin. Again, vanilla, but with a touch of astringency and slight note of what I would imagine sandpaper to taste like sans the texture. Dry hoppy end, medium body. Not quite metallic, but there’s something here tending in that direction that I just don’t like. Forgettable but serviceable.
