Commercial Description:
A wonderfully balanced true pale ale. Cascade, Tomahawk, and Amarillo hops create a citrusy aroma with a smooth, crisp finish. A subdued malt character nicely complements the hop complexity and produces an orangey amber hue.

Pours a clear copper color with a nice off-white head. Aroma of slight hops and caramel malt. Can definitely taste the Cascade hops, but they’re not as dominant as usual. Caramel and citrus taste as well... slightly floral also. 12 oz. bottle from J.W. Dundee Craft Pack.

12 oz bottle. Poured dark amber-red with a small, white head. Smelled mainly malty with a little hops. Taste is a little flat and mild for a pale ale. Finish is malty. A very mediocre pale ale.

Bottle: Pours a copper orange with a medium creamy, white head. Thick lacing. Malty and bready up front with hints of citrus. Tastes sweet and malty, light citrus hops. Dry finish with lingering bitters.

12 oz bottle out of the Craft Pack. The body is cloudy orange, the aroma is malty and almost some floral notes. The flavor is malty with some hops.

pours copper with a one finger bubbly off white head. aroma is light toasted malt and hops. has a light body with ok lacing and good carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma with a little soap. has a small dry hop aftertaste and is definitely better than the hefe i just had from them. but still an average apa, nothing special, session-able. there is some pine that creeps up in the aftertaste which is nice.

A beautiful beer that turns out to be okay. Very nice dark amber color with a thick tan head that leaves good lacing. Light aroma. I can really only pick out some malt, hops, and a bit of sweetness. Moderate mouthfeel. Malt is prevelant in the taste. A little sweet. Crisp, hoppy finish. A slightly bitter aftertaste. As with other J W Dundees beers, this one is pretty good for the price.

from sampler, not as sweet as their other samples, which is a good thing, light, easy to drink, malt prevalent, but not sickly sweet, citrus hop, decent brew
