| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 14, 2005 Bottle Pours a clear deep golden amber with a nice white head and very resiliant sheets of lacing. Aroma is a nice balance of fairly dark malts and floral hops. Slightly sour note. Flavor is a bit metallic and cardboard. Hops are quite mild and the feel is fairly thick with somewhat of a dusty or sediment feel. Not bad though.

The head pours slightly off white, but doesn’t stay a long time. The smell is light, detectable malt & hops. Color is a nice golden copper. The taste is good, finishes hoppy, and slightly sweet. The malt is in there too, but not too heavy. Mouth feel is good, almost creamy, with normal carbonation. I would recommend this as a good beer with football & chips! argo0 (6907), Washington DC, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 11, 2005 (12oz bottle) Clear amber body with off-white head, nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, floral, caramel, bread, orange, some lime. Taste is medium sweet, bread, caramel, grapefruit, some orange, light lime. The citrus tastes a bit off. Light-medium body. Better than expected, but SN has nothing to fear. robpet (98), Stone Mountain, Georgia, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 3, 2005 Dark amber appearance with a small white head. Mild grapefruit aroma that became more malty as it warmed. Decently carbonated, light-to-medium body. Dry, slightly bitter, fairly bland taste. BückDich (4848), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 1, 2005 Bottle: Clear amber color, light head and mild lacing. The nose is a bit diacetylistic with some mild cascadish hops. The flavor is lightly bitter, no malt sweetness and mucho carbonation. The finish is a bit tangy and holds something a bit metallic in the hop oils which pops onto my palate like german metal onto a hipsters ears. The finish is balanced surprisingly but it’s a very subpar pale ale. twindadplus2 (415), Wisconsin, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 1, 2005 Deep copper with an orange tint and a nice frothy head. Aroma is light, floral hops and caramel malt. Medium bodied with mild floral hops and a malty finish. A bit light on the hops compared to some APA’s but still a decent beer for the price.
