| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 11, 2009 Pours an orange-golden color with a thin white head which diminishes leaving decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is heavy of grassy bitter hops scents with some grapefruit citrus hints mixed in there as well. Flavor starts off moderately bitter, moves into a sweet caramel malt flavor and ends with a subtle grapefruit citrus flavor which leaves your taste buds puckering. Overall another good beer from the Dundee mixer pack and a good pale ale for dinner. Oscbert (547), Sacramento, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 7, 2009 Just says "Dundee Pale Ale" on my bottle with a frog on it.
~Pours a clear amber color with small white head.
~Scent of sweet malts and light hops.
~Flavor is a bit watery with malts and hops thrown in there.
~Light crisp feel with bitter backing.
~A run of the mill APA. Standard. Enjoyable and easy to drink, but lame. thooper41 (384), Oregon, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 24, 2008 bottle from bevmo. Grainy and malty aroma and taste with some citrus notes and a mild bitterness. BBB63 (4232), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Dec 19, 2008 Bottle and served in standard pint glass. Hum, yet another clean golden hued beer but this one seems to have better head retention. The aroma is shocking muted, more grainy than hoppy. Biscuity and bready vapours with just a note of grassy and herbal hops, nothing like I would expect from the description. The taste was more muddled and blandness, wet sloppy grains with muted non-descriptive hop bitterness. Some band-aid medicinal flavors upon the finish which makes the whole thing truly a train wreck. The mouth feel is dry, chalky, and metallic. There is honestly nothing enjoyable about this beer, I could a better APA from a kit than this offering. Plus there is that chalky house character that is okay in the sweeter lagers but is completely unwelcome in this style. Slipstream (760), USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 12, 2008 Dundee reminds me a lot of Saranac, another New York State brewer. Both produce fresh, enjoyable, midlevel, midprice brews, which are available in mixed 12 packs. The green label on this one features a cute drawing of a frog. The beer is a nice color too, and the aroma is woodsy, with piney hops and mellow malt. Dont worry, be hoppy, says the label. That gets a point. The flavor is dry and astringent, and the aftertaste is grassy and mild grapefruit. This is pretty much what one would expect from a good APA. Rciesla (3645), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 5/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/20 | Dec 12, 2008 Bottle. Pours a golden body with light floral hop nose and sweet caramel. Not much here to talk about.
