woo... is lightly spiced... the taste and mouth is Muddled but does show some promise, ..maybe ..... medium head on the pour ... lacing is actually damn fine!! ..does carry some strange aroma’s... basically....."weak!" ...Is nice for a winter warmer not to be over spiced but that lack of body hurts this brew...

In the bottle at the 2007 Crescent Moon Holiday Beer Tasting. Pours brown with a dark reddish amber with a thick off white head. Surprisingly, this is not a horrible beer. Clearly the best Dundee beer there is. Decent roastedness, strong toffee flavors. Not much aroma.

12oz bottle into my tumbler- poured non transparent dark amber, bubbly lacing head. Moderate carbonation, aroma of roasted malt with a slight yeast not. Hits the mouth with a thin body, many notes of spice (nutmeg?), finishes with a hop note. Nice.

This is a wonderful winter warming spiced ale. Rich foamy head...Malty aroma...richly spiced but not overpowering. Clean finish. Try a bottle.

Nice foamy head with good lacing and dark ruby brown in color. Drinks smoothly but I can’t really tell which spices were used. Slight bitter aftertaste but very clean and drinkable. Can’t really detect an aroma either.

Deep ruby red pour...reminiscent of a fruit beer. Quickly dissolving tan head. Pleasant aroma, some nuts, sugar, sweet malts and some conglomerate of spices, none of which I can individually pick out. Flavor is very nice, easy to drink, and pleasant on the palate. Flavor focuses on the malt flavors, cinnamon, and other spices built in. Palate is somewhat watery, but nothing offensive. Somewhat high in carbonation, but not bad. Overall a very quality offering for a seasonal ale.

This beer surprised me. Pours a beatiful amber with a tinge of red. The scent is oaky, malty with some definite spices. Has creamy, malty flavor that finishes with spices and alcohol. On the bad side: could’ve used more spices to mask the alcohol and the palate is a bit filmy. Otherwise, I really enjoyed this.

Pours a ruby amber colour with a medium creamy tan head. Nose of red fruits, sweet malts, gingerbread and mix of light spices. Initial taste is tingly which almost hides in the intial taste but slides into a light bodied fruity but yet spicy hops. Malt sweetiness and caramel come in for the finish. Some head retention and lacing of the glass. Palate duration is average. Interesting brew.
