Sep 9, 2008 Deep amber pour with a medium foamy tan head. Sweet malty aroma, with spice and hints of light fruit. Flavor is rich and spicy, definately more than I was expecting. A pretty nice brew.

Sep 2, 2008 Bottle. Pours an amber color. Aroma is malt and brown sugar. This beer is average. Not a whole lot of flavor. Very smooth and drinkable beer. Below average in appearence. Would not get again

Aug 17, 2008 Dark amber with a thick tan head. Spicy aroma of maple and cinnamon. A little too zesty for the summer but would make a good fall/winter beer which is when it was probably released.

Jul 9, 2008 deep ruby pour with a cream ring. rich malts and brown sugar on the nose. thicker than i was expecting and the cinnamon really shines through. easy finish that is nice and spicy.

Jul 6, 2008 Whoa Nelly let me tell ya bout tis beer, which surpirsed me by about 5 tenths of a point. The label is great. The pour is medium brown with a 2-finger off-white head. The aroma is caramel malt, brown sugar, maple syrup, oats, cinnamon. smooth and crisp and rather complex palate. This one is a keeper

Jun 18, 2008 12 ounce bottle- poured out a deep, clear, amber color like tea. The head was marginally thick, but very long lasting, wheat colored. Aroma was hard to place, smoke, caramel, toffee? Taste was interesting, strong, bitter coffee with a real bite at the end. Palate was very smooth. Not bad, but not memorable, either.

Jun 12, 2008 I agree with BMan113VR Great deal at $5 a sixer... Color is a deep amber with a thin off white head. The aromas are old shoes and off wood. The flavor is not quite right they do not meld together very well. Very unbalanced but still a good deal. Cheers

Apr 9, 2008 The best of JW Dundees. Great Price at $5 and change for a 6pack. Pours wiht an off-white, rocky head covering a clear amber body. Good lacing. Fruity aroma with vanilla and almost burbon in there. Tastee is bitter with vanilla undertones, but the balance is messed up. Tastes a bit like a baby, watered down barely wine. Fizzy mouthfeel.
