| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 19, 2008 From a twelve ounce bottle, part of the 2008 Craft set, from "Keller’s IGA" in Cincinnati, Ohio - As far as IPA’s go, this one is a bit wimpy, but still a better beer than any Bud-Miller-Coors mainstream product. It pours a golden-hued brew with a tall, fast-fading white head and faint aroma. Basically, this IPA needs a LOT more body.l Tmoney99 (4798), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 15, 2008 Bottle from sampler set from Kroger. Poured copper hue with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Average citrus hoppy and small malt aroma. Medium body with lively carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of average duration. Drinkable soft version. LinusStick (1855), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 11, 2008 These Dundee beers aren’t big on aroma are they? Aroma was very weak but could pick up the caramel malt...none of the "aggressive hop profile" they mention. Pour was a nice deep amber with a one finger off white head. Taste was very sweet and malty but again not much in the way of hops. Has a wet iced tea aftertaste. If I was rating to style this would be a lot lower. Block (379), West Lafayette, Indiana, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 4, 2008 Pours amber. I got much more malts than hops in this IPA. Nice hope flavor but not to the level of an IPA. A decent beer but not what I was expecting. jimig (23), , Texas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 21, 2008 Nice and bitter without complaint. It is very high on the hops, but not too bad. It finishes nicer than A Sierra Nevada Pal Ale. FROTHINGSLOSH (2038), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 21, 2008 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright caramel-amber color with a large orange-white head. The aroma was moderately sweet and fruity with a touch of pine and resin. The flavor was sweet, fruity, piney and tangy with a sweet nut and caramel malt base and a smooth sweet and hoppy finish. Not very bitter. The hops are somewhat subdued. This is one very easy drinking, sweet and enjoyable if unassertive beer. Remarkable.
