| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 20, 2008 Pours a dark, clear copper colour with a full white head. Great lacing that is evident throughout the beer. However for an IPA- extremely mild, more of an APA. Grapefruit and lemon the nose. Taste is soft citrus fruit and carmel. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 18, 2008 12 oz bottle labeled as "Dundee India Pale Ale" - I think that it is this same beer. Even though it does not say "JW" on it, it is from Dundee Brewing comapny in Rochester NY. Pours a clear light amber color with small off white head. Aroma has a fair amount of chewy malts, light caramel, touch of herbal hops. Flavor is malty, light notes of herbal hops, honey, pear, apricot, with a fairly dry, mildly bitter finish. Overall it’s a decent english style IPA, IMO. Although by description it has american hops, they certaintly don’t come across very agressively. BeerGestapo (740), Windsor, Pennsylvania, USA

The aroma is grassy with some hoppy notes. The taste is of grains, citrus and hops. The mouthfeel has a slight bitter finish but overall not bad.

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 11, 2008 Bottle. Small smooth off-white head that mostly diminished, spotty amounts of lacing, transparent, fast rising carbonation, and an orange hue. The aroma was malt, mildly hoppy, and citrus. Ditto for the flavor as well as being refreshing. Tingly mouthfeel and medium bodied. Easy to drink for the style, nice balance, nothing truly special IMO, and even though it is not a "bad" beer, it just did not leave me wanting it again as it lacks a lot of character and was just a ho-hum beer to drink for me. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 9, 2008 From a Dundees mix pack. Nice amber pour with a tight foamy head that laces nicely. A bit of a soapy hop aroma, along with a touch of citrus. Nicely balanced hop and light malty flavor. Refreshing on the palate. An ok multi-pack IPA.
