I’m begining to dislike filtered beer- weak, hollow amber color in this one. Smells a decent strawberry-infused grapefruit, with a hint of apricot. Weak notes of grapefruit dominate the flavor, with just a touch of pine in the background. Very watery taste and mouthfeel. Not horrible; nice session IPA.

Jun 2, 2008 The aroma is piny with some citrus and lots of caramel malt. The appearance is amber with an average head. The flavor is like the aroma and good despite being weak in the hoppy category. The palate is typical. Overall a very good session beer.

May 27, 2008 Amber color; small, white, frothy head becomes a ring; light lacing. Clean nose of piney hops, citrus, and light caramel; nice. Flavor has the familiar Dundee’s metallic note, but has strong, grassy, piney hops up front; however, the bitterness somehow drops off very quickly; probably not great by most people’s standards, but I like that it’s not overpowering. Light body but slightly sticky; perhaps slightly watery, but clean all the same. Probably the best J.W. Dundee’s of the mix pack.

May 27, 2008 Strong flower smell. Pours good light gold. Very limited bitterness. Leaves good bitter but fleeting taste in the mouth. Mildly impressed.

May 22, 2008 This beer pours a light amber with a thin to medium white head. The aroms is slilght grass, light malt and weak. The flavors are the same, weak. This was a very unmemorable ipa, but nonethless it was drinkable... Won’t turn this one down but won’t necessarily buy it again... Cheers

May 21, 2008 Not a bad IPA. Smells of light hops with a hint of pineness. Tastes of light hops and is a little watered down. Bitter oftertaste with a refreshing finish. Not bad, but average.

May 20, 2008 Clear amber with orange-reddish tones and fair white head. Amarillo evident in the floral hop aroma. Tastes malty but with obvious hop character. Not overly hopped. Not that great as a ’kick you in the face’ IPA, but pretty good to introduce a novice to the style.

May 19, 2008 You expect the hop flavor to go in a different direction with this brew, but it settles into the malt for a smooth finish. Not overly-aggressive, but refreshing on a 100+ degree day in Las Vegas!
