Body is weak, but decent flavors of citrus fruit and flower come out really making this more drinkable than I had anticipated. For the price, not bad, but the flavors are weak and seem cheaply balanced. Body is also lighter than better IPAs. retried 5/12/09: sipped from bottle. As an IPA fan, I found this to be offensively crafted. It lacks much aroma at all (plus a little metal), and the apparent flavors are so muted and muddled I couldn’t even make out what was going on in this beer. It is also obviously not dry-hopped, or even hopped for much of any depth. The weakest Dundee I’ve tried so far. 2.1. rustychiles (1058), Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 12, 2008 Pours a reddish brown with a small white head. Aroma of malt and hops, mostly malt though. Taste is hops, malt....... and fairly well put together although definitely not a WOW beer it’s not bad either. kidmartinek (1001), austin, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 27, 2008 Pale yellow/amber colored.Pours with 1 inch head, quickly goes to 1/8 inch. Aroma of dirty malt and hops, a little sweet, and some spice. Flavor is good. and is somewhere between bland and like Crystal malt hoppy. Bitterness is average. Mouthfeel is average, medium consistency. Finish leaves a flavorless bitterness on the roof of the tongue. A good beer. mmmbeer (765), Austin, Texas, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 27, 2008 Bottle poured into tulip- poured transparent weak tea color, light carbonation, white ring around the glass for a head. Aroma of honey, hops, and citrus. HIts the mouth with a defined medium body, hops are detectable and enjoyable but fade away heavily on the backend of the swallow, finish is acidic. If it didn’t fade away, this would be a great one and be rated much higher by me- but since it’s the way that it is, it’s only slightly above average and takes a beating in the score. obguthr (1067), Poquoson, Virginia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 26, 2008 Weak aroma of wheat, grapefruit, and honey. Clear copper, with a thin vanishing tan head. Dried leaf, grain, and pine needle flavor, very dry. Definite honey finish. Watery mouthfeel, but honey notes are a nice touch. robforbes (1105), Bremerton, Washington, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 18, 2008 This has a decent taste to the beer. However it is very weak compared to the average IPA. If it had more bite, and flavor that would make it great. beerinmarch (2829), Washington, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 13, 2008 Pine and citrus hops up front, but they were overtaken by the taste of thin dry-grain tasting malts. None of the good caramel malt flavors found in most american IPAs. Hops got a bit soapy towards the finish.
