| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 16, 2008 I would not recommend JW Dundees India Pale Ale. Everything about this beer screams average. With so many great IPA’s on the market, this one is not worth your time. jcwattsrugger (5333), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 10, 2008 12oz bottle-pours a rocky light tan head and copper color. Aroma is mild citrus hops, some medium malt. Taste is citrus/orange/flat hops-bitter clashes with caramel medium malt. Then improves for the 2nd half. joe19612 (692), camberley, Surrey, England
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 8, 2008 Bottle from a craft pack from Majestic. Poured a light copper colour with thick white head. Plenty of hops present, the taste starts sweet but ends bitter. Well balanced and drinkable for Ipa , I liked it very much. EithCubes (2146), Indiana, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 8, 2008 Bottle. Citric hops with a nice bit of malt, sweetish caramel, and slightly exotic fruit – aroma definitely more than passable. Heavily carbonated body with a copper-amber hue and a (massively lacing) fluffy, rich beige head. Body lighter than expected, with light bitterness and a touch of cardboard, wet hops with caramel and vague (but delicious) candyish fruit. Touch of yeast in with the crispness. Dry, bready aftertaste. Medium-full body. Definitely the best I’ve had from these boys - a winner in every category and a solid session. BückDich (4847), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 7, 2008 Bottle: Faint golden color, drank out of a bottle: Nose is dry and husky with some faint C hops, grassy with a bit of pine needles and dry citrus notes. The flavor is thin with a dry snappy malt note and a fairly decent hoppy flavor. Piney with grapefruit, it comes across really nice, but the body and finish don’t hold up as well. Good though. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 6, 2008 yellowish brown body is topped off with a small white head. Smells like a weird blend of malty, wood and a bit of hops. Kind of a hoppy taste. It tastes kind of like they used rotten hops or something. Bungalo22 (326), Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Feb 6, 2008 From the bottle and poured into a pint glass witha good but light head. The color is a clear amber, more see through then should be probably. A pine smell with a bit of bite on first taste. A light body and the after taste is a bit bitter but fades quickly. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 2, 2008 Pours very nice amber color with off white head. Aroma is relatively weak, mostly citrusy hops with a hint of pine. Flavor is also weak, a little more of the pine flavor comes through than in the scent. Palate is somewhat watery and not enough hops in this IPA.
