Commercial Description:
Our India Pale Ale is brewed with an aggressive hop profile derived from Amarillo and Simcoe hops. A blend of Crystal malts creates the backbone which supports the hop character without diminishing it.

Pours very nice amber color with off white head. Aroma is relatively weak, mostly citrusy hops with a hint of pine. Flavor is also weak, a little more of the pine flavor comes through than in the scent. Palate is somewhat watery and not enough hops in this IPA.

Unimpressive and flavorless as IPAs go. I didn’t get nearly enough hop flavor that I would expect and the carbonation was a little too strong.

Although the appearance is really nice the flavor does not back it up. It has a rather weak hoppy aroma, and the finish is nothing extraordinary. They also do not do a good job hiding the booze in it.

pours a nice amber color with a typical IPA nose. would accompany a 23-year old country styled singer from Oregon. Average IPA...the better of the JWD pack.

12 oz bottle pours a clear amber with a thin white head. aroma is of piney hops and sweet malt. Flavor is of citrus and pine and starts sweet and finishes slightly bitter. Slightly light on the hops by todays IPA standard, but this was actually better than I expected.

Pours copper gold with small white head. Nose is slightly skunky, citrusy hops, very thin on the palate but goes down ok, nothing special.

Nice thick head and lacing. Aroma is what you would expect from a weak IPA. Flavor is soapy citrus, pine, metalic, with a smooth bitter finish. A bit weak but not too bad.

pours a nice copper color with a small white head. some piney hops on the nose. flavor is very very weak for an ipa. i actually dont see how this can be called an ipa. there regular pale ale has more hop flavor than this.
