Commercial Description:
Our India Pale Ale is brewed with an aggressive hop profile derived from Amarillo and Simcoe hops. A blend of Crystal malts creates the backbone which supports the hop character without diminishing it.

Decent. Interestingly bitter hop flavor. Not much complexity. Slightly watery and bitter finish that lingers. Very drinkable.

(Bottle) Pours a light copper color with a white head. Hoppy aroma. Taste includes a lot of sweet malt, much like their APA. The hop presence is there however, and seems to balance with the malt. Somewhat astringent finish. Ehhh, it’s OK.

Smell is sweet. Appearance is light amber with thin diminishing head. no lacing. Flavor is bland, mildy sweet. Mouthfeel is watery and dry. Overall, not that great.

Bottle (12oz). Clear amber, large foamy beige lasting head. Light aroma - resin/funky dry hops, hint of leafy malt. The taste is restrained, slightly soapy, hint of pine and citrus, light juicy malt backing; weak body, light astringent bite, not much carbonation, quick finish, clean linger. Drinkable, not really very hoppy though.

Pour is a amber with a soapy white head. Aroma is deffinatly hoppy with some mild malts. Flavor is just not hoppy enough to get me excitied about this. More of the crystal malts come out then the hops used. Deffinatly not a hop bomb but it was a cheap six at only $4.99.

Bottle poured into pint glass. Dark amber colour with a tall, creamy off-white head. Definitely hops in the aroma and flavour but rather mild. No real characteristic to the bitterness, just bitter. Okay IPA.

Pours a dark amber with a white head. Has a strong hoppy aroma. Also has a strong hoppy taste. For me Indian Pale Ales have a very narrow tast difference range so it is very similar to a sweetwater or Dogfishhead IPA. I drank this out of a shaker.

A thick off white head tops this amber brew. Mouthfeel is soft with a nutty malt underbelly. Aroma is rather subdued for an IPA, but the hops are there, ending in a long mildly bitter finish. While certainly on the mellower side of IPA, this is a well-balanced version with easy drinking appeal.
