Commercial Description:
Our India Pale Ale is brewed with an aggressive hop profile derived from Amarillo and Simcoe hops. A blend of Crystal malts creates the backbone which supports the hop character without diminishing it.

Bottle. Pours a light amber color with a medium off white head. Aroma of malt, hops, and garpefruit. Flavor is lightly sweet wiith an earthy taste in the background. Has a mild peppery slight bitter finish.

9-12-07 bottle. For some reason - this smells a little bit like Chinese Food to me. Bitterness just isn’t there. Tastes like stale malt. Nothing exciting or unique about this beer. Leaves a dreadful coating on the tongue.

Nice Piney aroma, honey in color with a soapy looking head. Not as bitter as some IPAs I’ve had but it finishes clean and is very drinkable & sparkling on the palate. A solid effort...

The foam is outrageously good, lacing is all over the place! ... A nicely done mild IPA ... Middle of the road beer but it takes the left lane.. One of the finer JW’s!

Seems to be a typical IPA in my opinion. The hops aren’t as aggressive as in most IPAs. Amber color with a good-sized white head. 12 oz. bottle from J.W. Dundee’s Craft Pack.

Clear amber body with a small creamy white head. Sweet citrus hops aroma with a caramel background. Grainy caramel malt flavor with some citrus hops shining through.

Rich, deep amber with a foamy, lasting head. Light body; kind of creamy. Malts were weak; some toast, pinch of caramel; some "candy sugar" notes, similar to some Canadian IPAs I’ve had. Hops were underwhelming. Somewhat stark (plant-like) right off the bat. Flat aroma (single flower). Bitterness was a bit unbalanced (not enough malt to cleave off the starkness). Drinkable, but I didn’t really enjoy this IPA.
