Commercial Description:
For thousands of years, fall has been a time of plenty ~ plenty of food and plenty of good brew, carefully crafted in anticipation of one heck of a party. If summer is exercise, bikini diets, and baking in the sun; fall is recliner Sundays, cheese in a can, and basking in the glow of a robust, flavorful brew like Dundee Oktoberfest. So in the fall, be full-bodied. After all, as much as we love bikinis, there is a lot to be said for cheerleader sweaters.

malty and sweet but quite light. not as good as other mass produced oktoberfests. an easy session beer and not too bad. dont expect to be blown away but definetly not a drain pour, right down the middle of the road.

12 oz. bottle pours a ruby-copper color with carbonation swirlies throughout, culminating in frothy off-white head. Aroma is of malty maple. Front palate is caramel with a wheaty, hay-like middle and finish that’s almost sour. Thin bodied. Not as hearty as I’d hoped.

Pours translucent amber/brown with a nice light tan head. Basic caramel malt aroma, not much else. Flavor is similar caramel, buttered bread and nuts. I’ve had worse Oktoberfests that cost more, not a great beer but a good value.

Bottle. Pours dark amber with an off white head. Sweet caramel and spices on the aroma. Initial malty flavor actually turns quite sweet with lots of caramel in the finish. Dry, sticky texture with lively carbonation. A pleasant surprise at a cheap cost.

Dark copper in color with an off white head. It took some time to solve the malt yet nightcrawler with a hint of caramel nose. Light to medium on mouthfeel with the nose matching the taste. You’re left with a off butter short lived aftertaste. Overall a below the curve Oktoberfest beer.

33 cl bottle, Fargo, ND, USA. Medium amber, soapy head. Pronounced caramel aroma, smooth taste with some sweet albeit artificial flavor. Better than some of the other dundee offerings.

Sampled at Smith’s Liquor, Thursday night special. Dark amber. Foamy tan head. Smelled a little nutty. Caramel and malty taste. Somewhat dry. Not too bad, better than I expected. I can’t wait until the winter brews come around again.
