| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 11, 2008 Clear amber body with a decent off-white head that leaves nice lacing. The aroma is very light, but I can note some sweetness in there...almost like an artificial caramel. Palate is thin, especially for a marzen. Malty sweetness is the story with the flavor. Missing is the subtleness of caramel. It’s replaced with more of a candy sweetness. Finishes fairly clean. Not a bad beer, but not an exciting marzen. heemer77 (4311), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 8, 2008 Deep copper body that approaches brown. The head on top was khaki colored. The aroma was toffee with some wool blankets. There was also some wood. The taste was fairly dry with some toffee and iced tea. There was a little bit of carrot in the finish. This was a strangely flavored brew. jstraw (776), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 29, 2008 Has a hard tack candy like aroma and the smell is a little volatile as well. Many of the Dundees have the same background aroma. Slightly darker than pale yellow, but clear. Yes, mostly mild and yet offensive at times. Flavors are almost like a heller. Some malt alky bitterness is apparent. Little carbonation but some is presant during the slugging. You can tell this is a Dunddes product. How about that reference in the description about trading bikinis for cheerleader sweaters? Goes down rather easy but could have a few more manners. Comes on like its more than 5.5%
