Floral aroma. Bronze coloured and a little rich on the palate with a little dryness in a crisp full malt finish.

Jan 17, 2009 Bottle… Clear, dark amber lager with a small, quickly dissipating, off-white head. Decent retention. Nutty, toasty aroma with caramel coming to the forefront. Medium-bodied with kicked-back carbonation. Malty, caramely flavor with mineral bitterness providing decent balance. Subtle, bittersweet finish.

Dec 30, 2008 Single bottle from the Binny’s in Plainfield, IL. Nice look, a bright orange body with a tall off-white head. Very little lace. The aroma is way sweet, toffee with a bit of caramel and nothing to cut it. Just a slight bit of earthiness to try to balance out the flavor. I’ll pass on this one in the future.

Nov 20, 2008 Amber to bronze colored liquid with a tall lasting manila folder colored head. Caramel and lightly toasted malt aromas. A hint of floral hops as well. Some pale malt flavors along with a kitchen bouquet caramel flavor. Little bit of dried flower bitterness in the middle. Fairly sweet and not very crisp in the finish and liner. Just another slightly stronger amber lager.

Oct 8, 2008 Deep copper body that approaches brown. The head on top was khaki colored. The aroma was toffee with some wool blankets. There was also some wood. The taste was fairly dry with some toffee and iced tea. There was a little bit of carrot in the finish. This was a strangely flavored brew.

Appearance: crystal , clear amber look with good mid, contrasting white top. 3+ Aroma: mild caramel aroma , amber malts , light hop hints. 5- Flavour/Palate: medium bodied , slight metallic front. Straight amber malts with slight bitter ending. Straightforward, not entirely into style.
