| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jan 31, 2009 Poured from the bottle into a double-walled pint glass. Pour produced a honey-colored body topped by a quickly dissipating head of white foam. Aroma was slightly grassy, but not much else. Flavor is slightly sweet and light with good carbonation and a sweet finish. Palate is not complex, and I was hard-pressed to detect the honey, though the honey notes snuck up somewhere at the end. Overall, meh. Heathen (810), Riverside, New Jersey, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jan 29, 2009 THOUGHTS: An old favorite of mine from my earliest legal drinking days. One of the first non macros I drank on a regular basis. I stopped drinking it because after drinking it for a few days the sweetness becomes very cloying.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a clear, light amber with a tiny, off-white head that mostly diminished. The aroma was light to moderate caramel malt, very light grassy hops and then honey. The flavor started very sweet and finished a little sweet and slightly bitter with a short duration. There was honey water mostly with ever so slight hops at the end. The light body was watery with soft carbonation and a light astringent finish. dalekliz (546), San Diego, California, USA

Sharp malt aroma, with a hint of honey and hops. Taste is sweet and sharp, of malt, honey, sugar, and a bit of hops. Lingering honey sweetness. Not bad but not great. nqualls (1428), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
