Run of the mill honey lager. Honey very prevalent in both nose and taste but nothing really sets it apart other than a faint honey taste.

12oz bottle. Poued a clear light amber color with little head. The aroma was malty with som eslight honey. It had a sweet malt taste with a touch of honey at the finish. No bitterness or hoppiness. The mouthful was descent, not to heavy or over carbonated.

Poured a clear honey amber in the glass. There was a fruity almost soapy aroma from the glass. Flavor was slightly malty, very little honey. The finish was sweet and became unpleasant. Body was light and watery.

Poured from the bottle into a double-walled pint glass. Pour produced a honey-colored body topped by a quickly dissipating head of white foam. Aroma was slightly grassy, but not much else. Flavor is slightly sweet and light with good carbonation and a sweet finish. Palate is not complex, and I was hard-pressed to detect the honey, though the honey notes snuck up somewhere at the end. Overall, meh.

THOUGHTS: An old favorite of mine from my earliest legal drinking days. One of the first non macros I drank on a regular basis. I stopped drinking it because after drinking it for a few days the sweetness becomes very cloying. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a clear, light amber with a tiny, off-white head that mostly diminished. The aroma was light to moderate caramel malt, very light grassy hops and then honey. The flavor started very sweet and finished a little sweet and slightly bitter with a short duration. There was honey water mostly with ever so slight hops at the end. The light body was watery with soft carbonation and a light astringent finish.

On tap at Porters Pub, UCSD. Pours a clear dark amber with a foamy white head that lingers. Sharp malt aroma, with a hint of honey and hops. Taste is sweet and sharp, of malt, honey, sugar, and a bit of hops. Lingering honey sweetness. Not bad but not great.

12 oz bottle. Poured a clearish dark amber color with a half finger of off white head. The aroma was sweet malt. The flavor was sweet, but not much honey exists. The palate was below average with a thin body and watery mouthfeel.
