| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 30, 2008 Clear copper pour, with a small, fleeting head.
The nose was honey and malts.
The flavor was honey and water. Very, VERY mild taste, but drinkable.
Typical overcarbonation of american lagers.
Not bad for a lagerhead, not good for anyone else, but unoffensive. It at least tasted like a beer. dEM1972 (53), , Illinois, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Sep 28, 2008 Light amber in colour with clear traces of gas rising; light hoppy aroma with a sweet, honey infusion; light to taste but with plenty of honey taste, no bitterness, not much in the way of hoppiness, in fact not much else other than honey; really can’t tell if there is an after taste. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 25, 2008 This is a decent American dark lager. Aroma was OK. A nice mix of roasted malt and bitter coffee. Pour was a nice deep dark brown with a 1 finger off white head. Taste was nice and drinkable if not a little thin. Bitter roasted malt with a hint of caramel in the front and a roasted malt aftertaste that dies pretty quick. Better than average macro. lessthanrick (10), Livonia, Michigan, USA
