| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 22, 2008 I can remember when I thought this was a "craft" beer. How far I have come...but I must admit I can still drink this ice cold honey laden beauty at any tailgate that occurs in warm weather. Sweet and malty with no hops. Not a beer for purists, but what the hell. jbuzz (661), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 21, 2008 A tasting at Three Cellars Milwuakee. This is a great summer beer. Light on the honey and on the lighter side of a lager as well. Still very drinkable. esjaygee (1578), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 20, 2008 Golden yellow with thin white head. Weak aroma of honey and caramel. Taste of light honey, astringent, label a little misleading, at least on the brown part. GRM (1278), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 11, 2008 12 oz bottle into pint glass. Simple light beer appearance (except a little more red/copper), and palate. Aroma is best aspect. Smells like normal lager (malts) but with pleasant but faint sweet honey aroma accompanying it. Tastes like normal lager but with a slight honey tint that isn’t even up to par with the slight aroma. Highly drinkable thought and pretty refreshing. This stuff is considered high class at college though; and hey, it IS better than natty and keystone, so it will definitely do for now... KnN (744), Greenbelt, Maryland, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 8, 2008 Pours a clear orange color with minimal head. Not much in the way of aroma and the flavor is fairly flat, but it’s not offensive by any means. Good pub beer. jeremyd365 (109), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 8, 2008 Poured a darkish yellow with a medium head. Smelled slightly sweet, I’m guessing from the honey. The flavor was so-so, with the honey definitely helping. It seemed pretty bubbly and was definitely a very drinkable beer. The flavor was just too mediocre to want to have too many.
On a side note, it was definitely a great beer for the price. $8 for a 12pack at Meijer (a Michigan-area grocery+ store). Seems like a pretty good deal.
