The beer also has a hint of sweet to it which sets it above most others. Great beer if you can ever get your hands on it. BeerFanDan17 (625), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA

Nice American lager with obvious infusion of honey and sweetness, however not overpowering and with a nice finish and drinkability. joeyv120 (16), Phoenix, Arizona, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Apr 3, 2008 This is a decent, enjoyable lager, but quite basic and not even really dark. It is a dark gold, really just a slightly darker pale lager, with big bubbles, a medium off-white head that soon vanishes to leave a few foamy bubbles. he aroma is sweet malt, bread, grain, with hints of spices, honey, and toffee. The tatse is very mild but nice, a bit like a more full-bodied basic pale lager but with noticeable grain, a hint of pine and hay, hint of brown sugar, and a light but definite alcoholic quality. Although I noticed honey a bit in the aroma, it’s missing in the tastem which is more like brown sugar. It’s mostly sweet with a faint bitterness in the end. Ultimately it’s like a basic pale lager with a light caramel-brown sugar quality. Zinister (1207), Houston, Texas, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 2, 2008 Light brown pour with small head. Nose is sweet malts with touch of honey and spices. Flavor is initially spiced malts mixed with honey...then you get the sweeter malts and lager taste. Better than I anticipated. ILoveNewBeer (113), Iowa City, Iowa, USA

Drinking it i was right. It had a mouthfeel of a thin watery liquid. It does have a faint honey flavor to it.
To be honest Lager’s in general are not my favorite type of beer so I am slightly bias. The only reason I own this beer is because it was part of a sampler. mgoy (343), Oak Brook, Illinois, USA

The aroma and flavor are sweet but this should never be associated with mead. All in all, this is beer that I would order before most traditional American Lagers.
