Honey is for tea so that people with sore throats wont sound like Gollum. I picked this one up as a single just to have something new in my life and really wished I had left it on the shelf. It did look great in the glass but thats about it.

Rated 8/18/06: I don’t know this isn’t terrible but it just doesn’t offer much. I remember drinking this in college, it was better than swill and didn’t cost much more than a sixer of Bud. Anyway aroma is really not present except for a faint scent that lets you know this is beer. Pours a light copper with a decent white head and some proper lacing, not bad. Slightly creamy and full on the palate with a smooth clean finish again not bad. Flavor is of a crisp lager rather bland but there is a nice touch of honey sweetness after the swallow. Mellow and easy to drink, don’t expect anything great.

When they’re not busy making Gennessee, they’re making this stuff, maybe one of the first non-macros I ever had, long, long ago. Honey-golden with just a bit of head. Virtually without aroma -- a hint of honey and caramel. Taste is heavy on the honey, sweet and cloying on the finish, but nondememo and watery up front. Overall -- not what I remember, but it is what it is.

POurs alnmost Brown but has a decent head. The aroma has very light notes of honey but the moutfeel does give you more of that zing and it rounds into a smooth flavor.

It’s light, it’s fun, it’s tasty. Def enjoyed can’t remember the look or the smell but it had to be quality if I liked!

A little too sweet, and I don’t really like honey in beer. Looks nice. Smooth. For someone that likes this style it would be a good choice, just not quite my style. Hops just OK.
