Pours a pale amber with moderate carbonation under an off-white head that holds as a creamy film. Dusty, adjuncty aroma that opens to milky pale malts and that hint of honey. A sugared, breakfast cereal sweetness starts the flavor (Golden Grahams?) and hangs on just long enough to cloy before a mild bitterness lazily saunters in at the finish. It’s hard for me to believe that this was one of my session beers a few years back, but since I was also buying Icehouse, Red Wolf, Red Dog and Michelob Golden with regularity, Honey Brown was considered a real treat.

An oldie but goodie. I have always liked and appreciated this beer. Perfect appearance and a great crisp flavor when served icy cold. It is a great beer to drink on a boat sitting in the middle of a warm lake.

A great drinking beer, excellent with food, especially wings! Much smoother from a tap.

Very little to this beer, on tap at bdubs was a reddish gold body with very if any head. No taste and no nose. Below average. Some advice, do no shovel snow with a couple of these in you

355ml bottle from Tesco. Gold colour with a trace of white head and some carbonation; little aroma; little taste - ominously the label says "honey-flavored" rather than "contains honey", some malty sweetness, and perhaps a touch of honey flavor; smooth, warming and easy to drink, but that’s about all.

12 oz. bottle...Amber-brown appearance with little head and no lacing. Somewhat flat on the palate. Aroma and flavor of malt, walnuts, and honey. Smooth tasting, yet not too complex. All in all this is a decent dark lager that I may buy again, the only reason being that it might make a nice cheap session beer.

First lager I ever enjoyed. Pours a golden color with a slight head. Sweet taste with a nice honey flavor. Even though the price isnt high, it doesnt mean its a sub-par beer - it is a great beer for the price. Recommended to try. Re-rate: tasted flat with very little carbonation - hopefully it was just a bad case, but the beer had very little of the strong flavor i remember.
