I look down at my handwritten notes only to see the word poop very prominently scrawled across the top of my rating. The beer pours a clear golden with practically no head. The aroma is skunky with some pleasant graininess. The flavor is skunky like a old eastern European lager that’s been sitting on the bottom shelf collecting dust, there is a light bitterness and a mild honey thing going on. This crap isn’t even brown.

Dec 26, 2009 Little light in color for a honey brown but still not that bad. Kind of missing in the malt department but a real nice sweet honey finish. If this beer was a little more amber and had a little more body with a little bit more malt it would be a home run. All in all a good beer and can always find it in my Uncles fridge. I do enjoy it on occasion though.

Dec 23, 2009 Bottle->lager glass: Pours a large, creamy, white head that exhibits excellent lacing atop an amber body. Aroma of honey and burnt sugar. The body is light with soft carbonation. The flavor’s duration is moderate. Some people may find it cloyingly sweet, but this beer and I go back a long way and my high rating may be biased by that fact.

Dec 23, 2009 Light brown color minimal head. Aroma is sweet, grainy, lots of honey. Flavor is sweet, sticky, honey and buttered bread. Simple and used to drink a ton of this and now I don’t really care for it.

Dec 17, 2009 Pours amber with no head. Aroma is of honey. Taste isn’t bad. Very sweet with strong taste of honey. Drinkable beer. The best the bowling alley had to offer.

Nov 27, 2009 Pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is unorthodox, with definite honey, pale malt, and a strange bitterness. Flavor holds mostly light malt, honey, and white grape juice. Palate is light. Pretty mediocre brew.

Nov 15, 2009 A lager with honey sounds strange to me.
Not a great beer at all.
Amber-orange color, clear liquid, miminal white head.
Very light and short aroma. The honey is hardly to find here. Some vague sweetness in the nose, but mainly malt.
Flavour: medium sweetness, light bitter.
A bad surprise.

Nov 11, 2009 Wow, the label here is what I remember from college when I thought this was the shit. Bought a 12 pack sampler with this in it. Yeah, not the shit. Just sort of like a beer. A wet, non-hoppy, non-flavorful beer. Honey? No. Brown? Sure. Don’t waste your time.
