I found this a bit too sweet for my taste. It was almost a dessert drink. Other than that, tan head, full body, lots of flavor...good for the masses, just not my cup of tea!

Pours amber with no head. Aroma is of honey. Taste isn’t bad. Very sweet with strong taste of honey. Drinkable beer. The best the bowling alley had to offer.

Pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is unorthodox, with definite honey, pale malt, and a strange bitterness. Flavor holds mostly light malt, honey, and white grape juice. Palate is light. Pretty mediocre brew.

I’m not a big lager fan but this is not a good one. I get the honey and a weak flavor palate from the lager side.

A lager with honey sounds strange to me. Not a great beer at all. Amber-orange color, clear liquid, miminal white head. Very light and short aroma. The honey is hardly to find here. Some vague sweetness in the nose, but mainly malt. Flavour: medium sweetness, light bitter. A bad surprise.

Wow, the label here is what I remember from college when I thought this was the shit. Bought a 12 pack sampler with this in it. Yeah, not the shit. Just sort of like a beer. A wet, non-hoppy, non-flavorful beer. Honey? No. Brown? Sure. Don’t waste your time.

I look down at my handwritten notes only to see the word poop very prominently scrawled across the top of my rating. The beer pours a clear golden with practically no head. The aroma is skunky with some pleasant graininess. The flavor is skunky like a old eastern European lager that’s been sitting on the bottom shelf collecting dust, there is a light bitterness and a mild honey thing going on. This crap isn’t even brown.

A local favorite and our current house beer. Aroma is sweet with some filth and funk to it. Wimpy sweet and sour nose, watery body with a semi-sweet finish. Each Dundee has it’s own individual redeeming qualities but all share a subtle nastiness that can only be the water of the Genesee river. Anyone who has been to Rochester, NY knows what I’m talking about. Would you drink that water? Then why would you drink the beer?

A favorite from back in the early days of college, let’s see how I like it today. It pours a light brown color with a small white head, lots of carbonation, and a little bit of lacing. Aroma is sweet caramel, honey, and corn. The taste is sweet but there’s a gross metallic bite to it. Corn and water tastes round off the finish. Not at all like I remembered. Just another crappy lager from Dundee.
