dkoonce (880), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA Nov 7, 2009 Dark, with a modest head. Sweet, with a medium body. The biggest flavor is caramel, with malt and toffee. Finishes a bit long. One of the better from Dunee arondee (173), Tucson, Arizona, USA Nov 1, 2009 Pours a dark golden yellow color with good carbonation and lacing. Aroma is wet grass and corn. Taste is sour corn, some malt, and a metallic finish. Another absolutely brilliant beer from Dundee. I can’t tell you how happy I am to have purchased the 12 pack sampler of this breweries crap that they call beer. moose85uofa (15), Alabama, USA Oct 31, 2009 Sampler pack from VA. I always enjoy the lagers, but this one wasn’t my favorite. Had a smooth initial taste with a nice after taste....probably wouldn’t buy it individually. Dastrn (115), Warsaw, Indiana, USA Oct 29, 2009 Not great. Tastes of pepper and malts, with a little alcohol as well. Somewhat sweet, but it was overwhelmed by the peppery malts. Not well balanced. Not a fan. fluffy (229), Florida, USA Oct 24, 2009 i dont know what to think of this beer. it was a weird mix of sweet light brown sugars, some mild hoppy bitterness and a alcohol burn. im not really that familar with maibocks so maybe it was just because im unfamilar with the style. but it seemed badly off-balanced. jjuf1853 (467), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA Oct 21, 2009 Bottle from sampler pack. Pours a clear, pale amber color with a dense, foamy white head. Mildly sweet, roasted malt aroma. Flavor includes caramel and toffee malt. Slight sweetness up front followed by a touch of bitterness in the finish. Although not an overly high % the alcohol seems fairly noticeable, which is a bit surprising. Decent overall. mnurda (434), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Oct 14, 2009 Part of a sample pack purchased in NYC. Most of the beers tasted the same. Nothiing stood out. Cletus (5001), Connecticut, USA Oct 14, 2009 Pours dark copper with a tan head. Smells of caramel, some rosey hints, floral, earthy, some spicy hints. Tastes of toasted malt, some light fruity hints, sryuppy. Strange beer.
