| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 18, 2009 Pours a nice amber gold with a short creamy white head. Aroma is caramel, floral hops, toasty and a nice spiciness. Flavor is grainy malt, toast, caramel, nice floral hops and a bitter/somewhat metallic finish that is not too great and I find to be pretty typical in this mixpack. More drinkable than I expected but watery and lacking complexity. Narnad (726), Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 11, 2009 Pours a very clear orange-golden color with a small white head and lots of carbonation. Aroma is pretty good with lots of floral hints with some light caramel sweetness. Flavor follows the aroma well, with floral hops hitting first which transitions very smoothly to a sweet caramel and honey flavor. I was pretty surprised at how beer had a very smooth and tasty flavor which stuck on the tongue well after the beer was swallowed. Overall a bit sweeter than I like in a beer but decent beer overall. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 8, 2009 Nice amber pour. Light floral hop and malt aroma. I am enjoying their current crop of labels. The sweet malty flavor is balanced by some tasty, peppy hops. A good blend of flavors, and another nice brew from Dundee. unclemike (833), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA

Sweet aroma with notes of caramel, malt, ryebread and grain. Sweet flavour with caramel and breadish notes. Sweet finish. T2Tool (352), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 23, 2008 Poured from a 12-oz bottle and clear, golden color with just a hint of amber. Some sweetness on the aroma with pale malt. Taste of bready malt which seemed just a little off. It was still sweet, but just seemed to be missing something. MrRain (437), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/20 | Dec 21, 2008 12oz bottle poured into a shaker. DPBL pours copper-colored and slightly murky. The head is large and fluffy. The aroma immediately reminds me of mineral-heavy water. Other odors include corn syrup and light malt. The taste is very generic. The typical macro brewery adjunct flavors are the most prevalent. The higher-than-normal carbonation helps counter the sickly sweetness. The body is actually just about right, being neither too thick nor too thin. The finish is malty and unremarkable. BBB63 (4274), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 19, 2008 Bottle and served in a pint glass. Clean golden hue that looks just like the Honey Brown I has before it. The aroma has notes of caramel, toffee, walnut, wet grains, crabapple, a hint of spicy hops. The taste is mostly malt driven with a topping of caramel sweetness but a nice splash of fruity acidity and mild Saaz bitterness does provide a surprising tasty drink. The mouth feel is chalky and dry with soft carbonation, a bit astringent which hurts. All told, a drinkable offering but the mouth feel got old quickly.
