| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 5, 2008 Bottle. Golden bodied with a tall foamy blond colored head. Aroma is malty and sweet with caramel, some Bit O Honey and grassy/grainy notes. Taste is sweet malts, more caramel, honey, grasses, soft grains and bread dough. Rather tasty, surprisingly enough. Body is medium with a creamy carbonation. Very easy drinking. Ends with more caramel, soft grassy hops, sweet malts, honey, light floral notes and grains. Haslinger (652), Syracuse, New York, USA

Appearance: Amber-gold lager with large, frothy well presenting snowy cap. Good glass lacing. Aroma: sweet malts, mineral, dusty with malty bottom. Flavour/Palate: medium full bodied, fairly smooth body with fairly mild carbonation. Light bitterness on sides paired with slight alcohol burn. Malt underrepresented for Bock style more like Mocne. Alcohol felt higher than noted 6.2 %. Not great but I have seen many worse strong lagers in past.

Smell some sweet grain with a hint of floral and spicy hops not alot of hops but some there. Taste isn’t as malty as I thought. Bread/grain flavor with some slight toasted malt. Some residual sweetness hangs on the tongue. Mouthfeel was light to medium with good drinkability. I like this one as well as all the others in the mixed 12. Solid beers for a very reasonable price.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 27, 2008 This beer actually wasn’t nearly as bad as it was rated. Aroma is fairly light and of pale malt. Flavor is of light malts with a faint hoppiness in the background. No award winner but a decent easy drinking brew. porterhouse (1159), Alna, Maine, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 27, 2008 (Bottle, part of a Dundee "Craft Pack", from Lou’s Beverage Barn) Pours lightly hazy golden-amber. Tall off-white head. Aroma of sort of sweet, malty caramel, butter, light piney and sweaty hops. Mouthfeel fairly smooth but lightly prickly. Lots of droopy, weepy, patchy rings of lacing. Flavor is kind of buttery with some caramel, lightly dishraggy/sweaty and some piney hops overlaying. Not really exceptionally tasty but sort of an interesting attempt at a rarish style for a macro-brewer. Has a fairly decent thickly malty feel despite probably being filtered.
