Clear gold pour with foamy light tan head. Aroma of sweet grain and figs, and cinnamin-raisin bread. A slight bit of metallic up front but that fades into flavors of honey, malt, caramel, and yeast, a bit of biscuit. Kind of impressed me actually.

Reminds me of the beers I drank in Spain, a reasonable copy of a German style, but with nasty metallic notes accompanying the floral notes of the hops. Looks fine for a lager, clear golden pour, white head. Smells fine, touch of floral hops from the European hopping. Tastes sort of off, with malts and caramel where they belong and the slight bitterness from the hops, but an off-putting metallic edge comes through. Adequate bitter finish.

more sweet and caramel like than anything else. moderate body it is somewhat refreshing with little hop character that is readily noticeable. of course the character of the brew will reveal that a significant hop presence is evident . different and sporting an appropriate name, this beer is demonstrative. curve ball in the alcohol this brew is a bit different and i would say sportingly so. mildly impressive.

Golden color with an average white head. Light hoppy aroma with a smooth, slightly malty taste. Not very pale, not really a bock. Kind of just a slightly above average lager.

Poured a clear orange/golden body with a medium white head. Aroma was a little nutty with some floral hops. Pale malts with floral hops in the taste. Finish was not crisp like I expected. It seemed to linger on longer than it should have. Overall not the best representation of the style.

Nothing great, but not bad either. Very watery, mild hopes in the flavor and aroma.

Appearance: Pours a clear, golden body with a full inch of white head. Respectable lacing on the way down. Smell: Sweetish pale malt aroma with a scent of floral hops. Taste: Pale maltiness with a cereal sweetness. Floral, lightly spicy hop character with a brief, discreet level of bitterness, leaving the beer to finish as sweetish as it started. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: Well, it’s okay, though it lacks the depth of character to continue my interest beyond the single 12 oz. bottle.

This is the most watery, weakest "Bock" beer I’ve ever had. Big disappointment. Also, this beer appears to be the same very beer with a different label, which was confusing and might cause someone to buy a beer thinking it’s new. The one I have has a goat on it and says Dundee Pale Bock Lager. Check this site to see: http://dundeebeer.com/ales_and_lagers/pale_bock/
