| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Mar 31, 2008 Smells like a sweet lager. Fruity almost banana flavoring. Gold coloration topped with a pale white head that goes away quickly when drank in a tulip glass. heemer77 (4304), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Mar 31, 2008 Bright gold body with a large slightly off white head. The aroma is jelly filled donuts with a sweet grassy note. The taste has some more of that cheap jelly donut character. There is also a little bit of banana. A strangely sweet beer that gets more cloying as you drink. jimhilt (1679), Bow, New Hampshire, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 28, 2008 12oz twist-off bottle. I paid $.50 for a single at Green’s, BufordHwy. Pours clear, color is a mix between golden and an amber. 1/16th of an inch of white creamy head. Big malt aroma with a hint of herb smell. Textbook Heller Bock aroma. Flavor of crystal malts. medium dryness. Some bitterness follows through. Except for the aroma this beer lack quality. It was only 50 cents. I got what I paid for. iride15 (171), Orlando, Florida, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Mar 15, 2008 A very malty, bready aroma, color was a reddish amber, white foam. Flavor was slightly sweet, no hops, leaves a lingering sweetness on the palate, sort of a caramel flavor. A decent beer overall, but not remarkable. In fairness to JW Dundee, their beers are often a gateway for other people to get away from the mass prouced sludge and into the world of craft beer. Also, they are great beers when weighed again their cost (something I often consider).
