Fun dark pour and coffee rich flavor that pours dark and has a decent tan head. Easy to pull across the tongue and has an astringent finish.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a black color with a large dark tan head. The aroma was bitter, dry and roasty with a light floral hop presence. The flavor was tangy, sour and bitter with a moderately roasty and toasty element and a hint of molasses and licorice The finish was shortish malty and molasses. Solid.

12oz bottle in Columbus, OH. Mahogany brown with a rim of beige head; roast coffee aroma; thin and disappointing in the mouth, watery to start then developing a dry and malty coffee finish.

Suprisingly good for a commercial low cost porter. Clear dark mahogany with deep garnet highlights and a faint ring of tan head. Caramel and chocolate nose. Roasty flavor. Almost a hint of smoke. Medium thin, a little watery almost. Fair i suppose.

This came in the craft pack. For the most part I am not a big fan of porters but this was not all that bad. Actually somewhat enjoyable. Dark pour with a minimal head. Mild chocolate coffee with a bit of earthiness in the finish without tasting like dirt. Considering the brewer and the price not too shabby at all. Dundee really needs to get these beers in 6ers to see how they do on their own and dump the weak ones.

Aroma was of roasted malts with maybe some chocolate malts. Taste was good, not too watery. I was surprised how smooth it was. Chocolate, toffee, and caramel were all present. Not bad!

Probably my favorite of the Dundee beers. Pours a dark brown with a chocolate milk colored head. Aroma is roasted and of coffee. Flavor is roasted coffee and some sweetness. 12 oz. bottle.

Just like the bottle says "Roasted & Robust." Pours dark amber with a thick, creamy brown head. Has a nice roasted malt aroma and a bitter taste with a hint of chocolate. A quality beer.
