Very nice color beer with a good aroma. Even though this is a water porter, roasted chocolate malt taste is evident.

Pours nice dark brown with nice tan head. Aroma is actually very pleasant, roasty chocolaty malts. Flavor is similar mostly just the roasted malts prevail, not too much diversity in the taste. Body is pretty light, but overall not too shabby, better than I expected.

The look of this is a lot better then the flavor. Pours a dark brown color with a thick head that never fades. There is not much of an aroma to it. Just some malt and minor hops. The flavor is rather bland with hops and chocolate malt and some hints of toffee. The finish is nothing amazing and is kind of watery.

Malty and chocolate smell upon the pour releasing a light brown head and a very dark body. no noticeable carbonation. A smooth hint of chocolate and a spec of mint on the palate. nice porter put together by jw.

Black with nice thick creamy head and lacing. Aroma is light roasty malt and chocolate with a flavor of roast chocolate, hops caramel. Finish is a bit sweet and creamy...not too bad at all.

Poors black with small tan head. Some roasted malt on the nose. Taste is some roasted malt but not as much as other porters. Actually a very nice offering from jw’s but I’m a bit partial to porters.

12 oz bottle, 6.5% a/v Pours black, with a relatively decent brown head. Smells of nuts, chocolate, a bit of dark fruit and molasses. Tastes nutty and roasted malt. Very nice dark flavour, and a smooth porter. Very good dark beer!
