Commercial Description:
An American style unfiltered wheat beer. Pale straw in color, our Hefeweizen exhibits a light cloudiness from carefully selected wheat and yeast. With its spicy wheat malt aroma and crisp hop finish our Hefeweizen is a light, pleasantly flavorful beer ideal for warmer weather.

Bottle from sampler set from Kroger. Poured clear yellow color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Light citrus wheat aroma. Light to medium body with lively carbonation. Light to medium sour flavor with a light to medium acidic finish of short duration. I would not recommend this to a freind.

Blah. This is one awful wheat ale. Aroma was near nothing. Culd pick up a slight graininess but that’s it. Pour was a light orange with one finger off white head. Taste was almost nothing. Could pick up a hint of light malt but no wheat tartness and not much else. Medium carbonation with no aftertaste. Blah.

Not bad. Pale yellow color. Light aroma of sweet malts. Light taste with a slight pale malt and alcohol finish.

Hazy golden (strangely not clear, like many raters before me have noted). Very small white head is pretty much fully diminishing leave a very thin ring. Light wheat aroma with a hint of honey sweetness. Surprisingly, I find this rather full-bodied for a wheat. Flavor-wise, heavily malted with a slightly astringent wheat/rye huskiness to the finish. Not a good example of a wheat ale, but to call this horrid by any stretch of the imagination is making a mountain out of a molehill. The differences in ratings makes me believe that this beer may suffer from poor quality control.

Pours golden. One of the worst beers I’ve ever had. Soapy aroma, cardboard flavor. Also sucks.

Do I have to say anything at all? OK, I will. Crystal clear amber, more like a filtered amber ale than a wheat. Not much head ... not much wheat protein survived the filtering? A little lemon flavor, a little sweetness. Not a white, not a hefe ... not sure what it is.

I am embarrassed to see American style wheat beer means flavor less and disappointing, then I am giving up this style. The flavor is very very light and lacks the yeast it needs. Easy finish, made for amateurs.
