Very pleasant and refreshing, but not a typical wheat beer. scottw86 (186), Maryland, USA

Taste was mainly of wheat, but there were some strange spices and the finish left a bad taste in my mouth. Not a great wheat beer. mcjay (304), Neenah, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 5, 2008 Cloudy golden color with a foamy white head and a light hop aroma. Typical american hefeweize but little on the pale side. JPDIPSO (4939), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 2, 2008 Near cloudy straw colored liquid. Thick, fairly lasting white head. Aromas of wheat, pale malt and hints of floral hops and lemongrass. Wheat, light honey and lemon in the flavors. Simple wheat/american ale. Quite typical and boring. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 1/5 | 9/20 | Sep 1, 2008 Smells like butter & cheese, strangely. Looks clear golden with bubbles. Flavor is buttery / cheesy / watery / not so much wheaty...maybe the buttery / cheesy taste is somehow yeast, but I dunno...tastes weird to me. The palate is light and about two or three dimensional. There is little carbonation. My overall impression is positive but underwhelmed. EithCubes (2174), Indiana, USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Aug 31, 2008 Bottle. Mealy, grainy wheat with honeyish malt and faint coriander. Some orange rind / juice. Pours golden with nary a head. Taste is very dusty and water-sucking, but there’s this awkward minerally straw note that moves to dominate and just ickies things up. Spice is weird, and no longer resembles coriander. Light body with a bit of sickly, metallic malt. Ugh! Earlier Rating: 1/20/2008 Total Score: 0.7 Bottle. Stale fungus and blue-cheese (stinky feet aroma) with unconstrained sugar. I doubt it’s a bad bottle though. More stale fibrous cardboard, too. Golden body with light but continuous carbonation and a lacing white head. Taste is alternatively sappily-malted and dry cardboard, and a maladroit touch of wheat. Light watery body. All in all a bad experience - why do we put ourselves through this! PorterPounder (3148), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

Murky medium gold pour with a thin white head. Orange marmalade in the aroma with some slight funkiness. Odd flavor with some brief citrus, some toe jam, a hint of peach jam and some unidentifiable spice. Too carbonated mouthfeel. Somewhat forgettable. Homebrewerguy (285), Oil City, Pennsylvania, USA
