Commercial Description:
An American style unfiltered wheat beer. Pale straw in color, our Hefeweizen exhibits a light cloudiness from carefully selected wheat and yeast. With its spicy wheat malt aroma and crisp hop finish our Hefeweizen is a light, pleasantly flavorful beer ideal for warmer weather.

Grainy amber color with quick diminishing head. Well carbonated. Earthy malt aroma hints of pepper. Light citrus Not much hop character. Malt flavor is a little overwhelming needs a grain bite, a little more crisp.

Not bad for a wheat beer. A little bit of a haze, with some floaties. Typical wheat aroma and taste.

12 oz. bottle from sampler pack. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small disappearing white head. The aroma, what little there is, is wheat grass with a slight infusion of honey sweetness and citrus. The flavor is again subtle at best and includes wheat grass, cereal notes, and very mild honey sweetness and citrus qualities. Nothing about this is offensive, but there is not much there to consider at all. Light, crisp, refreshing; not much different than drinking a flavored water.

Bottle. Hmmm, this one sucks. Yellow pour, big head. Wheat, faded yeast, light fruit and watery malt aroma. Flavor is watery, dull, a bit of wheat. Nothing really good here.

Light. Didn’t see much difference between this and the pale ale and IPA. Very similar, I think. Not exactly bad, though. Drinkable. Maybe if I was faced with this or Coors, I’d go with this. Some yeast, malt flavors. A bit bitter. That’s about it.

From a weizen glass... Three massive fingers of head. Cloudy dull yellow. Lots of carbonation. Looks like a mild hefeweizen. Spiderweb of lace. A mild wheat aroma that makes it smell halfway between a hef and a wit. More to the clove/hef side though. The smell is a little weak (partially because it has trouble breaking through the thick head), but nice enough. An initial flavor of bubble gum, and very mild banana. The wheat really comes out. It’s a good, mild flavor. The clove and banana come out with warmth. Nice, chewy thickness, but not heavy. Nicely elastic feel. A nice, mild and summery drink Substantial but not at all thick.

Pours a golden yellow with a very small white head. Loads of carbonation and some lacing are apparent. Aroma is grass, straw, and corn. Taste is sweet corn and sour grass. Tastes like a typical american Lager with a little extra sweetness, just gross.

while it has some wheat qualites and a decent mouthfeel, the overall presence feels lacking in the maltness
